Need to choose hair dye - without strong fumes?

I'm in my late 40s and have been using a semi permanent box dye, L'Oreal Casting for years. Lately though its fading quickly. Hairdresser dye job is out of my price range, and I'm looking for another product. However the Casting stuff doesn't smell, and the only other dye I've tried is Nutrisse- and I almost passed out from the fumes. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks in advance- I use dark brown dyes on my dark brown (and some grey) hair, which is shoulder length.

try the Clairol Natural Instincts stuff. My dd used it to dye her hair recently and the smell wasn't too bad

Olio - no fumes, works well. But shampoo it out otherwise the oil isn't rinsed out.
