What style of jeans are fashionable these days?

I’ve had a health problem (large fibroids) for the last few years which meant that my abdomen became very large and distended. I had a procedure (UFE) and my fibroid is now shrinking quite rapidly, and as a result I can now get into jeans I haven’t been able to wear for the last 3-4 years, which is great, and I’m delighted. However, they all look awful, really dated, and way past their best. Can you recommend a style of jean that is fashionable, and will look good on an apple shaped 5’4” figure, but will be closer to a size 14 hour glass by the time the fibroid has finished reducing?

Well bootcut is in...but not on an apple. Apples tend to have shorter legs but slim ones...is that you?

I am a pear and look best in bootcut...it balances me. If your legs are slim, a slim fitting boyfriend looks nice on apples...rolled up at the bottom.
