Best tinted moisturiser

Hi!
So I’m looking for a good tinted moisturiser, I have really combination skin and bad acne round my jawline and on my chin.
The only foundation that really works is Estée Lauder double wear, but it’s so expensive I’m looking into tinted moisturisers instead. I currently use a NYX one but it doesn’t seem to have that much coverage and makes my skin quite dry.

Any ideas? Just to add I’m really pale and as well as acne have acne scars.

newnameallround · 13/11/2019 20:02

Boots no 7 for me too!

bakedbeanzontoast · 13/11/2019 20:04

Laura mercies oil free is sadly no good for my oily skin sadly.

@superfandango I got mine from QVC, they have a 30 day guarantee so you can try and if it’s not the right colour send it back and they refund the full price. Really good!

I really like Marcelle Golden Glow, it's magic stuff.

Junobug · 13/11/2019 21:28

Those of you who use the Bare Minerals one, do you use a primer underneath and the Bare Minerals brush to apply?

Charlotte Tilbury

Currently loving trinny London BFF. Gives me a lovely glow. Then just a bit of foundation where I really need it for a more made up face.

AnnaNimmity · 13/11/2019 21:53

Laura Mercier, but not the oil free one. it's brilliant!

FenellaMaxwell · 13/11/2019 21:58

I used to use the Laura Mercier one but switched to the Nars one which is brilliant. Actually for a cheap back up, the Aldi one is quite decent too.

Florabritannica · 13/11/2019 22:02

Laura Mercier every time.

TigerJoy · 13/11/2019 23:17

I used to wear the bare minerals complexion rescue and switched to boots no 7 city light because it is cheaper and very nearly as good (but so much cheaper!)

thinkingcapon · 14/11/2019 05:54

@Junobug neither

ChardonnaysDistantCousin · 14/11/2019 06:42

If you like DW and want to replace that then a tinted moisturiser won't work for you.

It's a completely different thing in terms of coverage.

Mmpip · 14/11/2019 10:24

Dr Haushka is fantastic. The only one I would ever use now and it's all natural...

GingerKittenCat · 14/11/2019 10:34

If you like double wear then Avon do a copy which is meant to be really good for a tenner. It's called 24 hour wear I think. Not used it myself but apparently it's got good reviews.

loutypips · 14/11/2019 20:31

@Junobug I don't bother with primer, but the brush is a must!
