Getting it done next week but I’m going out the next evening. Is it going to leave it flat/greasy looking?

No it’s actually really nice feeling. I have very fluffy frizzy hair and got it done about 3 months ago, it doesn’t completely straighten hair but it makes it dry faster, style easier and leaves it feeling really soft and healthy.

Ooh great. Looking forward to it. Does it damage it long term?

My hairdresser says not and I’ve not noticed any issues with it- if anything it feels in better condition than before

I had Kerastraight. Is that what you're having? As pps have said, no greasy feeling and you are even allowed to wash it quite soon after.

I wasn't all that into mine, so didn't end up getting it again, but I have to say that the aftercare was a breeze compared to what I've heard about other products, where you have to leave hair hanging loose for three days or whatever.

It doesn't damage afaik. My stylist said it was actually beneficial. I was trying to grow out a dodgy hair cut (not with the same stylist) and she said I could actually leave it longer between cuts as the condition would be better.
