I had seen this but don't think it will go with brown, so let's look again.....

onlyWotz · 19/08/2007 20:37

I would also like some short sleeves to cover jelly arms at top

I really like this, and you could justify the expense cos you can re-use it coming up to Christmas......
Or this is a bit more muted
Or this?

WS I really do like the first one. I might have to pay Debhms and trip tomorrow. Nice bright bag me thinks too! Many thanks, lovely colours and not at all like smart work clothes, which was a look that I didn't want.

I love that first one too - you could really dress it up, or wear wirh jeans and slip flops, or white linen trousers......Hope it's as nice in real life as it looks on screen!

thany you, I will have to try it on than buy online, so I will pop out early in the week. It is lovely, well done.

Wotz this one is right by the race course

or The Grosvenor v posh and pricey, but lovely and right in the centre of town.

That site has plenty of others. Hoole is the place for the majority of B&B's in the city, but is def. a cab ride to the Roodee.

thank you, Slubber for the advice and links

FWIW the evening races were very great fun. I even won a few bets. We were lucky with the weather and I can highly recommend it for an adult evening.

Style. Most woman wore dresses, plus slinky wraps / pashminas (as mentioned clevage and legs were on show, some with streaky fake tan,,,yukk!),. It turned chiily and lots of woman put on the mens jackets, never a good look I feel.
Those with hats in the evening were few and far between.

If you do want to wear hair decoration, it is worth getting the hat or hair some of feather clip thing in Chester. The shops all had loads.

Anyway, my brown tousers and flirty top worked well and was ideal to go to the bars in Chester later that night.

We stayed in the Crown Plaza which was only 4 mins walk to the races and right by the shops. Would recommend it.
