Breast implant removal with no uplift

I’m booked in next month for my implants to be removed as one has capsular contracture but i can’t afford an uplift/ don’t want implants back in again.
What was the recovery like? I’m hoping I’m going to be at least comfortable by Christmas.
I’m so nervous about what I’m going to be left with!😣

I had my implants removed 5 years ago for the same reason but I did have an uplift. I found explant much more painful than the original op I can't lie but that could have been because I had the uplift added on. I had twilight sedation and a local anaesthetic and I felt really odd for a couple of days still even tho I didn't have a general. I've got to admit I really miss my old boobs and wish I'd had a small implant put back in.
