I usually just colour in my roots medium brown 5N I think with a permanent colour and fancy a change. Not sure if it would be one I'd regret though!

I think it depends on your skin tone. I colour my similar hair with a 5N shade from John Freida which is a cool, ashy brown. I went chestnut last year and didn’t like it, the colour was too red for my cool skin tone and made me look a bit sallow and washed out. But if you have a warmer skin tone it could look lovely.

Id go blonde.

Ah that is what I wanted to know - I was not sure if chestnut was cool or warm! So I can use it , being warm.

My hair would be the same as yours and I use a Loreal dye called natural hazelnut, mid brown with Auburn tone

Believe me, NOTHING shows up grey like red tones, so I wouldn't personally ...
