Any hairdressers out there- what would you like as a gift from a client (and not!)

I used to tip my hairdresser (been with her for years) and love her- really friendly, nice person and we hit it off- but decided recently that the salon prices are so high that a decent tip is beyond my budget and an insult to give her a couple of quid. (She's not the owner but a snr stylist.)
So...I'd like to give her a nice Xmas gift.

She loves Clarins which is a bit outside my budget but was thinking of another quality handcream and something else- maybe a nice nail polish?

Want to avoid chocs, booze and biscuits as expect she gets sackfuls.

Any ideas and if you are a stylist what would you never want (because you get loads of it!)

Clarins hand cream is £18.40...surely another hand cream and nail varnish together would not be much less?
