Are these any good and which one do I need? I have fine shoulder length hair, I need root lift and a nice bouncy blow dry. I Don't want curls...

Following with interest as I've been thinking about buying one myself for a while.

I love it. If your hair is shoulder length I recommend the larger barrel. Dry your hair to 95% before use. It definitely does not curl but it does turn the ends under nicely. My hair is bouncy and smooth with 5 mins effort.

I'm always worried about it tangling up your hair!

ChristineBaskets · 05/11/2019 12:05

I've had several (they don't last long) and while they can be great they can also be fiddly to use and can tangle hair painfully. I have recently bought a Remington one step dryer brush and much prefer it. It doesn't spin so no danger of tangling.

Ugh sorry about that massive link Blush

TheDuckSaysMoo · 05/11/2019 12:16

They don't last long. I'm on my third in 5 years although I use it every second day. They do snag, which is why you need to section.

Buddyelf · 05/11/2019 12:20

Sorry I hated mine - sent it back in the end. Just did absolutely nothing for my hair.

cathpinc · 05/11/2019 12:25

They can also fry your hair more than you realise, so use a decent heat protector.

Toofaroutallmylife · 05/11/2019 12:31

I was given one for Christmas- don’t use it very often but my 15 yo DD always comments (in a good way!) when I do. Gives my hair much more of a “salon” look and feel
