That's very kind that you were thinking of me! Things are very well atm, thank you, I've just come back from Germany where I enjoyed myself so much that I didn't really want to come back. Off to France next week, so can't complain! And Seb is doing well atm, long may it continue! How are you?

I haven't bought any tights for DD let alone DS. So DD hasn't any winter dresses! I have too many bad memories of wearing tights that were too short and having my crotch somewhere round my knees. All that fabric round your nether regions can't be good. Not to mention hard to take off and put on by themselves (the kids take off their shoes and socks when they come in the door).

sugarmatches · 17/08/2007 23:10

I really only used them for going out because I put them under his very "manly" trousers.
They kept him warm as well and since he was only a year old, he didn't complain. Can't see me doing it this year though.

EscapeFrom · 17/08/2007 23:10

Well, i had actually thought of them to stop ds1 slinging his socks out of the pushchair - I have a couple of pairs of white tights from when he was a baby and still put them on ds2, who is a rampant sock-slinger.

But white gets so grubby, and I thought navy was cute.

Califrau where do you get the cute ones. DS 1 had superman tights from H&M but they dont do them anymore.
I will continue to put DS 2 into tights in winter until he is about 3-4 then they can move onto long johns.

OOOH Superman!! My son would be excited about those...or Spiderman.
Shame there is a bit of a stigma attached because they did work great. I bought ours from Polarn O Pyret at Brent Cross and they were unisex red/white stripes. This year they are doing really nice stripes and animal print leggings. I would say those or Katvig which is also unisex.

Mine just have cold feet

I still can't get my head round the babylegs - I know they are loved on nappy boards, but they just look that bit freaky to me (says the woman who dresses her son in wool trousers...)

MerlinsBeard · 18/08/2007 17:12

i really like th eideaof baby legs, esp for winter and crawling when trousers just fall down!

Hopefully i will be in a position to get some in a few months

ELR · 18/08/2007 18:14

my ds wore tights last winter and will do so again this year, they are brill for keeping little legs warm.
Got them in H&M in Norway, more places should do boys tights

FlameBatfink · 18/08/2007 19:53

They do some fab boy ones MoM

(I am going to be soooooooooooo confused if it turns into a girl...)
