Help! Looking at making my mum a beauty advent so I can tailor the contents - but im struggling to find something with big enough drawers/boxes for beauty products.

Anyone done this before and got any top tips?

I just looked on eBay and if you search for 'empty advent calendar' you'll find lots

There are even empty 2019 Liberty calendars there 😵

@Bellasblankexpression I have an empty Debenhams one that you can have. It worked out really cheap (they gave me £20 beauty points in error) so I decided to open it and get myself another one this month.

This one. It’s not the sturdiest but I’m sure it would be fine for a few years.

Would it not be pretty expensive to source minis of things she would actually want, or even just 25 items?

A relative actually did do this for me one year and they basically got a fairly large gift box, shredded tissue inside, then wrapped all the items individually and numbered them with tags. Perhaps that's an option, or you could use a sack/stocking.

I actually didn't enjoy the experience of it really, I'm sure it cost quite a lot and was hours of effort so felt awful but i think it's hard to find that many things a person wants to legitimately use or try so you end up with waste regardless.

The Works have wooden advent calendars with small drawers. Plain wood but I'm sure they could be painted.

I did this for DP, but with alcohol/chocolate as well as beauty stuff.
I bought small brown card boxes off ebay and decorated each one with a number cut from different materials, they were tied with ribbon like mini presents, I glued them to a cake board in a stack.
