I'm off to Bicester Village tomorrow, what should I look out for?

Any shops which are must-visits?

I'll be going to Kate Spade for a new handbag but otherwise fairly open.

I'd like some beautiful but comfy clothes for at home now winter is on its way. Chunky knits, soft trousers.

Any other ideas?

I prefer Swindon but that wasn't the question was it!

Most of Bicester is out of my budget. I don't want to spend £2k on something lime green from Prada.

Jack Wills is good for hoodies (and Christmas presents), White Company is good for everything I think.

Controversial but I like the Laura Ashley outlet at the Wyevale (I find it much less chintzy and more stylish than it sounds) and if you can travel then the Flight House or Milk Shed are good for lunch.

Oh and there's a Cosmetic Company which is a bargain but I find the other shoppers soooo stressful. Maybe a gin first is the answer.

And a caramel crepe is basically compulsory

In all honesty, the tourists with their suitcases (to fill up with tax free goods to flog back home!) and strollers with mini dogs in them.

I would be weary of the quality of some of the pieces as some are made directly for the outlet. An obvious one is the Ted Baker coats- they are definitely a lesser quality and you can feel it in the material.

Ah you've reminded me to go and try the strollers for teeny tiny dogs. Sadly the teeny tiny dog is being a pain right now but I'm sure I can talk him into it! Grin

@Alarae that's interesting - I wanted a Ted Baker coat but fit and quality not great at the outlet - now I know why!

A parking space!
