When I hadn't slept for weeks (or so it felt), I had my make up done by the lady on the BeneFit counter at Debenhams. It looked fab - not "made up", but everyone I met later that day said I looked really well.

moljam · 17/08/2007 08:55

thats good idea!any idea what she used?

Try dunking your face 10 times (5 seconds each time) in really cold water, its a quick fix and does have some effect, and drink lots of water.

Scootergrrrl · 17/08/2007 08:56

Benefit dandelion is ace for making you look vaguely human on no sleep

moljam · 17/08/2007 08:57

lol ok.thanks

I was slightly alarmed by the "industrial strength concealer" she used under my eyes, LOL. She also used Dr Feelgood and something called Boiing!

ludaloo · 17/08/2007 08:58

ooooh I could do with something to help with my bags and black circles. Even when I have actually had some sleep people still say I look knackered

ladymac · 17/08/2007 09:02

I use an illuminating foundation primer by Prescriptives and a Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser on top of that.

Both of these are fab, with the added bonus that you don't really look like you're wearing make-up.

ludaloo · 17/08/2007 09:03

hmmmmm....they sound good. I'll have to have a look next time I'm out

ladymac · 17/08/2007 09:06

Meant to mention that a few people have said I don't look like someone with a small baby i.e. not haggard enough (!)and I know it's down to the products I use.

moljam · 17/08/2007 09:15

wow all sounds good

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm.

I think it's fab.

Also, Estee Lauder tinted moisturiser.

TinyGang · 17/08/2007 10:31

I am beginning to think this is the nly solution for me these days.

Failing that has YSL Touche Eclat been mentioned yet? I like the Estee Lauder under eye version too.

MrsJohnCusack · 17/08/2007 10:33

BeneFit isgetting a good press here! I can thoroughly recommend the Get Even conceler powder and Dandelion blusher. It makes you look as though you get a full 8 hours each and every night

ladymac · 17/08/2007 10:35

Touche Eclat gave me a kind of eczema under my eyes. Know a make-up artist who won't use it because of this problem.
