Are these shoes frumpy?

I’ve got a Christmas party and have bought these shoes-I can’t wear heels that are too high and I want to be able to walk and dance

Just wanted some opinions on whether these shoes are pretty or frumpy?

Gold will look lovely with navy.

If you need tights for coverage rather than warmth, I really love the Sally Hansen leg spray which makes it look like you're wearing tights. It doesn't keep you warm though

I actually have some of the sally Hansen spray-to be fair will only really be going from taxi into venue so maybe I can get away with no tights! And save money on new shoes......unless I buy a new bag instead
