Babyliss big hair - only for short hair?

So I've heard marvellous things about this - but does it work on long hair? From what I can see it's like a hot brush?

I found my hair tangled easily in it when it was longer - their flat brush was much better for longer hair but it needs to be nearly dry before you use it

Not tangle round the brush. My hair is somewhere between shoulder and shoulder blade length.

I found it didn't work on my thick, just past shoulder length hair. It tangled and pulled a lot of hair out. I gave mine to someone with short fine hair, they did think the effect was great but didn't want to use it as it pulled too much hair out!

If you buy from somewhere like Boots you cab take it back if it doesn't work for you, just keep all the packaging.

The early (large barrel ones) were for hair past shoulder length so I'd say they were better on long hair than short.

You do need to use it a different way though, concentrating on the roots rather than the ends. My hair is shorter now but thick so I still use it and love it.

I think the reason why it pulls hair out for some of you is that you haven't sectioned your hair well enough and you are allowing the dryer to rotate too close to the hair that hasn't been sectioned to dry.

Thanks for all the replies. My hair is only fine but shoulder length so I might give it a try.

There are two types of BBH driers. One with a 50 mm barrel for long hair and with a 37 mm barrel for shorter hair.
