Leather black knee high boots (with a heel) that don't look like wellies?

I have quite very thin ankles and quite thin calves - but not freaky! Yet every boot I try on looks like a pair of wellies. I really want a pair of knee length, block heeled boots - I want to rock the 70s look with a midi skirt or dress. Has anyone seen any?

I bought these from Other Stories) yesterday - admittedly, with minimal trying on and they're massive! My dd tried them on too and they look much better on her!

I've also tried these and they're similarly quite baggy (and extremely expensive!).

I will pay quite a lot. (within reason)

I also have really slim calves and was looking for the same type of boots and have tried loads of them!
These were the best I tried. Great price and nice and narrow on the leg. Sadly they were a bit small on the foot and the next size up was not available.

In the end I settled for these. They're a bit too long and slightly too wide but not too much and quite in line with the 70s look.

oh thank you - they are really nice, but I think I want a higher heel if possible.

I have Clark's mascarpone ela boots, they fit well, look good over jeans and have a decent block heel. They have them in tan or black and they're very comfortable.

You need Duo Boots. I've just bought some knee-high black riding boots as I've lost weight and mine are too big.

Duo boots, you can measure your calf and specify when you purchase. Their prices don't match the quality though.

Gabor have some slim fitting ones: www.gaborshoes.co.uk/womens-c1/boots-c3/maybe-s-ladies-slim-fitting-long-boots-p19212#attribute%5B1%5D=5313

Finally, check Zalando. Lots of European brands witch much slimmer calf offerings.

I have the same welly look problem. I got a very similar style to what you’re after from Hobbs...but last winter. They don’t seem to do them this year, i found a brown version in Debenhams, you may have luck in black elsewhere; the Mollie boot:
