A coat to wear with boyfriend/mom jeans?

Have a few pairs of non skinny jeans but I'm struggling to find a decent warm coat to go with them. Have been wearing with chunky cardigans but the weather is getting colder.

I find a parka looks too 'grungy' and I don't think I can pull off the oversized/big/long coat look.

What is everyone else wearing with their looser jeans?

Leather jacket! A short one obvs 😎

Oversized big mannish coat. Sorry not helpful but I think it's the only way.
Otherwise you have to go short and suffer a cold bum

A navy pea coat.

I have a mid thigh length, fairly fitted, wool coat from Hobbs. I think it looks good over my girlfriend jeans, usuall with brogues and a scarf.

Really don't want to buy another coat after having a rummage through my wardrobe of 16!! coats 🙈 Found a nice burgundy pea coat I forgot I had that may work with a scarf!

A teddy coat is next in my shopping list for this very reason

I love them and you can pick amazing vintage ones up for next to nothing. Worth scouring depop, eBay and Vinted if you can't be bothered with charity or vintage shops

I caved.. I've just ordered an oversized cream coat and a black teddy coat and maybe some trainers. Only from miss selfridge, but thanks to a 20% off code & the 24% they have off today, it was a bargainous mini spree!
