Comfy shoes for new job on feet all day

I've just got a new job where I will be on my feet all day (retail). I'm not used to this and need a smart, comfy pair of shoes that I can wear with a dress, suit and trousers.

Recommendations please.

What about brogues? I recently bought a pair from the Forever Comfort range at Next and they are really comfy.

Hotter shoes are very comfortable, and a few are quite stylish ( many are not).
I love the Dew style, but they're a bit "nursey" for what you want.

I also was going to suggest hotter. Really robust too. Just pick your style or you'll look like my nan! I wear the boots - normally I walk through shoes in 6-9 months....these are indestructible. Lol.

I’m a nurse so my shoes are from Clarke’s and are years old black but comfy as hell you need to try different brands as what I find comfy for 12 hours you may not, just can be an expensive mistake. I got sketchers once, big mistake they hurt so much
you can also get comfy insoles

I'm a healthcare assistant & wear Clarks smart black 'dolly' style shoes which have Trigenic soles... omg so comfortable!!
