Burgundy/wine coloured corduroy pinafore dress?

Mid thigh length. What colour top, tights and boots would you put with it?

I have one like that from Oasis. I wear a white polo neck and black tights and black ankle boots. I think it works.

Thanks for replying. I hadn't thought of putting black with it funnily enough. I'm thinking charcoal tights and maybe mid brown boots. Also think navy might work. My pinafore was a bargainous £13 from Primark.

I have a similar one and recently paired it with a mustard long sleeve top and long brown boots. Worked really nicely. I often put with pale pink, grey or white

I really like the one in oasis too! But I tried it on and I thought I looked like a school girl and couldn't pull it off.... I'm 33 so prob too old for this fashion?!

icecreamsundae Nooooo! You're absolutely not too old, if something suits you it suits you, age has nothing to do with it imo. I'm 46!

Now wearing it with a khaki long sleeved t shirt, charcoal tights and brown ankle boots. So many things I already own will go with it. Love it when I can (rarely!) say that about a new piece of clothing

Where do you all get colourful tights from

Mine were a 3 pack from m and s a few years ago - burgundy, teal and navy. Also got some taupe coloured knitted ones from Primark. I saw some lovely mustard ones in h and m last week
