what do wear to cover your ankles? I don’t want to expose anyone to my pale stubbly ankles. Are knee highs naff?

Er nothing. It would look weird imo, and defeat the object of trousers of that length.

I don’t care about people seeing ankles that are my skin colour even if not shaved that morning so i just wouldn’t worry about it. If it’s a bit cold I sometimes wear knee high nude “tights” under my trousers and it’s looks but find they tend to roll down if slim fitting trousers and hard to fix them.

I've had to buy an epilator so I can show the odd inch of leg.

I wear fishnet socks - added warmth and blurs my pasty skin

Bare ankles for as long as possible then snazzy socks in a contrasting colur. I just bought these to wear with navy shoes and ankle skimmers.

My legs are so short, ankle grazers and 7/8th length trousers fit me to the tops of my shoes.

No trouble at all.

I've seen shoes worn with contrasting ankle socks.

I've also seen sheer 'nude' pop socks worn under the more obvious socks.

Really depends on what shoes I’m wearing. Ballet pumps = nothing; boots = socks.
