I have pedicure booked for tomorrow morning [smug]
sort it aaaahhht

JeremyVile · 14/08/2007 19:17

I currently have feet only a hobbit could be proud of.

Heathcliffscathy · 14/08/2007 19:18

you see pedicures don't actually cure horned hoofness unless you do once a week do they?

the more i sand off mine, the more they seem to come back.

they are not awful, but i want SOFT feet (on balls of feet and heels).

Heathcliffscathy · 14/08/2007 19:21

HOW LONG WIILL IT TAKE BADGER.

i have the flexitol and am prepared to do flexitolled socks of an evening, but how long til i see real results (hate having slimey feet)

WanderingTrolley · 14/08/2007 19:22

Ooh, cod, d'you know what's good for horned hooves?

Crocs.

MrsBadger · 14/08/2007 19:26

don't know soph... have never let mine get that bad
[runs away as well]

sanding + vaseliny socks is good for night-before-wedding type emergency. Anyway tis nearly winter and Time for Boots

Ceolas · 14/08/2007 19:28

Oh I have been using something great. Hang on...

Tutter · 14/08/2007 19:28

mine too

normally fanblardytastic - regular pedicures

but ds2 permanently attached to breast = reduction of footcare hours

ordered flexitol today (buy 1 get one 1/2 price at boots atm)

Heathcliffscathy · 14/08/2007 19:29

pedicures as in paid for or as in you diy?

how much are pedicures anyway?

Ceolas · 14/08/2007 19:30

You mustn't sand too much. Apparently it encourages growth.

Anyway this has done wonders in just a few days.

Amazed I can still reach them...

PatsyCline · 14/08/2007 19:41

Oh thank you, potnetial foot saviours. It's weird but of all the things that piss me off about my soon-to-be-40 body I think it's my feet that make me despair the most. I blame the distinct lack of beach holidays in my life for the last five years! How I long to feel the sand between my toes.

I am going to try an intensive foot regime for the next three days (going away with v.glam friend this weekend).

I felt I just had to post something, but then realised that I didn't actually have anything to say on the matter....

harpsichordcarrier · 14/08/2007 20:09

fleixitol is heart stoppingly expensive isn't it

JeremyVile · 14/08/2007 20:11

...AND IT STINKS.

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 14/08/2007 20:11

I only paid about a fiver for mine. Did I buy the wrong stuff...

Slubberdegullion · 14/08/2007 20:15

Whats wrong with sitting with your feet in a washing up bowl of warm water and something frothy and Mning for an hour, and then picking the white looking flesh off with your fingernails.

Costs nothing.

harpsichordcarrier · 14/08/2007 20:15

it was £8.25 in Boots yesterday
I nearly swooned

smurfgirl · 14/08/2007 20:16

Mine are grim STILL waiting for chiropody. Urgh.

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 14/08/2007 20:17

Actually that might be right.....

Remember DH removing jaw from floor..

[displays smooth pink and polished feet]
bargain too - almost as cheap as my old illegal-immegrant Hackney nail bar

had forgotten how much waxing hurts though

Ceolas · 15/08/2007 21:15

MrsB

Bet it feels good!
