Found a brilliant moisturiser, cheap too and my skin’s the best it’s been in a very long time

I’m 39, been struggling for at least 3 years with my skin. Dry patches, dehydration, sallow, little bumps under the skin, just generally looking and feeling rubbish.

My DS has eczema and I kept seeing adverts for Child’s farm moisturiser so I thought I’d give it a go. It didn’t help him and I hate waste so I started using it on my face. A week in and my skin is vastly improved! It’s silky smooth, feels plumped up and the cream weirdly feels matifying, almost like a primer, so my makeup is sitting better and I’m not needing to powder as much (which could be why it looks so much better). It’s cheep as chips too.

Just wanted to share!

Where did you get it from?

Duckegg271 · 13/10/2019 20:27

Boots, it’s in the baby section. I’ve been using the sunscreen too.

I use this Grin, I love it. Feels lovely on. You can get it in some supermarkets too.

@Duckegg271 do you use it on your face?

PeterRouseTheFleshofMankind · 13/10/2019 20:33

Is this the all over moisturiser? I have a big pump bottle of it that I have used for DDs exczema in the past and now I'm tempted to use it on my face!

Duckegg271 · 13/10/2019 20:35

Yes, my face and neck (and upper arms which get a bit dry). It sinks in instantly and I’ve been wearing it over the suncream so it stops that greasy/shiny look.

My DH has found it brilliant for his sensitive facial skin! It used to be so irritated and sore for days after shaving. We got it for DS’s eczema (it didn’t help but Aveeno did) and on the recommendation of a colleague at my work DH tried it on his face.

I might try some more products from the range. I’m thinking that less is more might be the way forward for my skin. Maybe I’ve been throwing too much at it.
