I need to buy some new ones for exercising (if I ever get round to it) and for trips to the park). Don't worry I shall not be wearing them out to the shops. Haven't got a clue what is IN or OUT. I don't want to spend a fortune and can probably fit into childrens at a size 4.5 - 5. Suggestions please!

Don't know what is ok over there but in the US, you need the biggest whitest ones you can find. And plenty of white socks with which to wear them. Pull the socks up as far as you can. There. Fashion Guru

Yep thats right (they'd really slate the ones I am wearing atm- grey boys ones from the sale bin in Matalan)

mamama · 14/08/2007 17:13

Yeah sorry, I wasn't much help. I need new trainers too but refuse to have blindingly white ones so am refusing to buy any! I'd be tempted to go the same route as nymphadora.

Nymphadora · 14/08/2007 17:15

Yeash thats why I have these cos I hate the white ones and blokes are all too big, not a lot around in lads ones atm

redtoenails · 14/08/2007 17:18

Aloha's recent thread might help?

MrsScavo · 14/08/2007 17:54

Where I live big white ones are a no no, but then I'm not in the US. And no one pulls their sock up around here, apart from DH, and it really makes me cringe.

Diesle trainers look good for the park, but I wouldn't train in them.
