Leather look leggings

I've woken up with the urge to buy some for winter to be worn with warm baggy jumpers and ankle boots.

Is this acceptable for someone approaching 40?

Any recommendations for some? I had some a few years ago and would like more

I see them all the time on the more glamorous school mums all of a certain age and they look great if you find the right pair. It’s good that we don’t stick to silly dressing rules anymore.

Chickeny the M&S ones are coated cotton or coated viscose so are still breathable. I've tried on several pairs I wouldn't be able to wear as they feel horrible and sweat-inducing on.
