What do short and fat people wear on a night out in Manchester

That really.

I'm 5'2" and a size 18.

I kind of prefer retro style/quirky stuff rather than high fashion (please don't suggest Lindy bop!). I hate black and I'll wear heels but not strappy shoes. It's really, really difficult to find trousers/jeans that fit let alone flatter. No skinnies or straight leg. They make me look like a parsnip. I have saddle bags and a bum. I'm quite feminine, I don't mind showing a bit of boob but nothing above knee and no upper arms out.

Oh, and less than £100 for the whole thing.

Ha! I'll love you forever if you find something.

Thank you.

That should say size 14-16 top and 16-18 bottom.

If you are going castlefied ( Dukes 92 ect)
Then you could go ultra glam

Northern quarter is very casual

Then there is everything in between.

Watchthecup · 07/10/2019 18:10

Ultra glam and casual mean different things though eg where I am, people would never go put in trainers, even for casual but in various parts of London, trainers are suitable for everything.

So I'm after some tips on what people wear in Manchester for a night out. :)

Not sure what we are doing yet but will involve dancing, hopefully somewhere nice.

What about a low cut, long sleeve just below the knee wrap dress with killer heals and matching bag

Has got a little bit of thigh but with gold/green/red or back heals and bad would be great

Fingermoose · 07/10/2019 18:25

I tend to wear a dress and comfy boots but that's because I live in jeans the rest of the time. How about this if you don't mind yellow or this but the neck might be a bit high.
What are you comfortable in? Any colours you love?

Lucked · 07/10/2019 18:28

What about this next dress available in petite with black tight and heeled ankle boots.

Lucked · 07/10/2019 18:35

Actually this is a nicer animal print dress from oasis. I like how it is styled with boots and biker jacket.

Runningonempty84 · 07/10/2019 19:24

Totally depends where you're going. If I went out in Manchester I'd be in jeans and Converse/flat boots, a t shirt and a biker jacket. But I'd be nowhere near Castlefield or the Printworks.

partysong · 07/10/2019 20:42

Honestly I think pretty much anything goes in Manchester. Where what you feel good it and you'll be fine

troppibambini · 08/10/2019 11:47

Yep it depends where you're going?
Spinningfields- glam
Northern quarter-less so
Print works-less clothes the better it would seemGrin

Inliverpool1 · 08/10/2019 14:14

Manchester is mini London with prices to match on a night out.
