Has anyone bought one? Are they decent enough?

I can't afford a real one, but would really like a backpack with carrier handles. These are the only ones I've seen that I like!

Bumping for you because I'm interested too!

Dd friend bought one from Amazon and it’s lovely. It was about £22 I think?

FamilyOfAliens · 07/10/2019 07:00

There are loads of canvas rucksacks with handles on eBay and I expect on Amazon too (never shop on Amazon so I can’t be sure), if you’re actually after function rather than a designer rip-off. I’ve noticed that even the cheap Fjallraven copies are more expensive than the unbranded ones.

I bought a brilliant M&S canvas rucksack for work on eBay - carry handles, loads of pockets, stylish colour, great quality and £12 Smile.

FamilyOfAliens · 07/10/2019 07:01

Oh, and it was brand new.

Thanks

Yes, doesn't have to be a designer rip off. Just a canvas rucksack with carry handles. I can't seem to find many.

I got my kids a RIP off mini each from ebay. They were about £10 and have been great. Clearly not top quality - the stitching isn't perfectly aligned and the end of one of the straps has frayed slightly - but decent for the money and they're very handy. Would buy again.

Roka London?

terriblyangryattimes · 07/10/2019 10:38

I have a ful sized one that I've had for 2 years (bought off ebay) and its held up well- and compared to my friends official one you can't really tell the difference. Bought a mini size for my daughter for school too.

Thanks all!

Is this one from Amazon any good? Got it for my daughter for school and it's great.

I was thinking about buying my DD one from eBay too. She’s nearly 10 and really wants one but no way I’m paying full price for a real one for her. She already has a decent school bag and this will just be for going to clubs, or out and about at weekends so it doesn’t have to be the best quality in the world. I’m generally not one to buy fakes but I think I would in this case. Maybe if she was older and in high school I would get her a real one as the cheap versions probably wouldn’t hold up to carrying heavy books day in and day out.

I have two .. they are great

theneverendinglaundry · 07/10/2019 18:55

Good idea @thanksforallthefish I may get one for my daughters birthday!
