Uniqlo Ultra Light Down Jacket

Does anyone have one of these and can advise how warm they are? Will they keep me warm during the coldest winter days, or are they more for the autumn months?

I love how thin and light these are. I just can’t see how they would keep me warm when the temperature drops though...

I had a Uniqlo-style one from Amazon (basically identical) and I wore mine alone in autumn, and then under a coat in winter. They're definitely versatile!

They’re great as an extra layer but not enough on their own.

My standing watching football outfit goes:
Uniqlo Heat tech top
Wool jumper
Uniqlo down jacket
Waterproof coat
Hat

A Uniqlo down gilet may have saved DS's life during an endurance canoeing marathon. He got near hypothermic by getting wet through, and was stripped and redressed in anything available, including a uniqlo down gilet, which got him to the end of that day's stage. It went through the washing machine and tumble drier and came out perfect, for return to teacher next day.

Good for cool but not cold days. Can be a layer under a rain mac. In my experience they come up small.

Ive got a short and long ULD and they are incredibly useful if you are going outside/inside and dont want to get to hot.
Pack down to nothing so brilliant for an Autumn/Winter city break.
I have all different types/weights of Winter coat and I wouldnt use this as my main Winter coat but Ive worn them loads Im not helping

Brilliant for travel but I’d say not warm enough as a winter coat. I wore mine as a layer under a proper ski jacket in extremely cold temperatures.
