What is the best way/place to sell an evening gown?

I have two evening dresses (one Phase Eight and one Karen Millen so not designer) that have never been worn and still have the labels on them. I'm never going to wear them and want to sell them.

I don't really know where to start. I thought about Facebook marketplace but a friend suggested I would get next to nothing on there. Would eBay be best? Any advice gratefully received!

Do you have a reselling shop locally that would take them? Ours is very fussy on condition and sells for 50% of the original price, but only give you 25% when garments are sold, so I understand you would probably like a bit more. I am hopeless at EBay but trust someone more knowledgeable will drop in to help.

I’ve got a few things to sell including some Coast evening dresses ( with tags) and I’m going to try the app Depop and see how that goes. I’m not sure that it’s hitting the main demographic really but it’s all fashion so that feels like a start.

No shop nearby, I live very rurally so thought online would be easier!
