It's fine. If you're a bridesmaid, and that's the chosen bridesmaids' dress. Otherwise, not so much.

Very nice. I went to a very posh wedding recently and no one would have thought that it was off. (They did laugh about the MOBs dress)

Bobthefishermanswife · 29/09/2019 23:59

I really like it and would wear it as a guest.
Are you seriously considering shortening it though? I'm not sure if it would work, take it to a proper seamstress for a professional opinion.

Redshoeblueshoe · 30/09/2019 00:01

Exactly Bob it's a lovely dress, just wear it. If you think the bride will be offended just ask her

Either that or this ... with a really fancy statement emerald necklace

Definitely needs to be shortened - above knee or calf-length, both would be fine in my opinion.

MiniMum97 · 30/09/2019 00:07

Shortened that would be fine.

Pipandmum · 30/09/2019 00:09

It looks like a bridesmaid dress or a prom dress. But it will look fine with right accessories. But I wouldn’t wear it full length.

Lardlizard · 30/09/2019 00:14

Yes was thinking above knee
