I have these comfortable and classic boots from moda in pelle

I LOVE them. They have others similar, and wide-fit. Look great, and really good price.

Am attempting my first pic - they are £59. Look a lot more.

I also have the boots that @DoubleTweenQueen linked above.
Bought them last year and love them so much I'm thinking of buying a back up pair this year!

Can anyone recommend any longer boots (knee length)? I have tried Deichmann (too tight on calf) and M&S too baggy on ankle.
Don't want leather really.

@BreakHerOffAKitKat - did you get them at a store or online. I love them - but I vary between a 5 and a 6 so never buy shoes online.

Has anyone got leather UGG boots (not the usual slipper type ones)

I have been eyeing up these but not sure if they are comfy?

I have short legs so need something that doesn’t come too far up the ankle, otherwise would join everyone in ordering the Barbours!

Leather Ugg boots are glorious to wear. I have Ugg Kensington and adore them. I've worn them constantly for years and they're still going strong.

Hmm actually the Kensingtons look much roomier in the toe than the Bensons I was considering. They do look very comfy. Shame they will cut me off mid calf...

I've got ugg leather boots and they're amazing! Ridiculously comfortable and look as good as new!

I bought Barbour ones last winter and they lasted 6 months so wouldn't buy again

@Verite1 I bought them from Next online. I got a 6 which fit perfectly but I'm generally a 6 in all shops. They do have them in store in my local Next so you could try your nearest branch

I'm thinking of buying some fitflop boots - their Chelsea boots look nice.

@Mindgone - how is the sizing? I'm usually a 4.5 or 5, but my fitflops are a 4. I'm wondering if their sizing is consistently smaller?

Have a look at Piccolinos, beautifully made and very comfortable.

I picked up my Barbour boots and they are beautiful but just don't suit me. The length is funny on me and they're too gapey. I found them quite big too. I'm usually a size 7 but could pull these size 7s on and off without needing to undo the zip!

You can never go wrong with Chelsea boots in my opinion. I always have a few pairs on the go, at the moment I have black leather, dark brown leather, mid brown leather, tan suede, dark green faux suede. I’m also considering hunting down a pair in dark orange/pumpkin type of colour.
