Chunky calves and jeggings - which boots or shoes?

As you will have surmised, I have chunky calves and I’m also very short in the leg so find it really hard to get suitable boots.
I’m looking for some to wear with jeggings. I’d really like a loose ankle boot or simple mid calf boot.
Could anyone recommend anywhere to look or tell me what you usually wear if you have the same predicament please?

@littlemissengineer what kind of shoes? Trainers? My feet aren’t massive but I’m worried they might look it! Totally see what you mean about making my calves look more chunky though!

A friend of mine is very slim generally but has very heavy calves. She buys her boots from Evans as the legs are cut bigger than most night street stores.

Something with a chunky heel to balance the calf curves out, maybe an ankle boot rather than a calf one, and something that isn't tight on the leg. At least, that's what I do.

I have chunky calves and when I went to a recent John Lewis personal shopping session they recommended these boots

They have a calf size option as well as a shoe size option on their boots, I think they have 30cm-50cm calf sizes available.

If your ankles are nice show them off with shoes so the slimmest part of your leg can be seen.
However, if your ankles are chunky hide them with boots.
