They're fairly pricey but I think I'll go for them IF they're comfortable. Anyone had R & B boots before? What's the sizing like?

I'm not loving the eyelet either.

Have you considered Hogl instead? They're not well known in the UK (they're Austrian) but I go some Hogl combat boots in the Farfetch sale and they're SO comfy!! They didn't need any breaking in and have never rubbed or even left a tiny mark on my delicate size 8 feet. They're also very sensible as they actually fasten with a zip so quick to get on and off. They're a totally fab discovery!!

OK so I've listened and changed my mind. I've seen them in the shop window and they don't look at all cheap but I was in two minds.

I like the look of those Nanette ones so considering those. I don't like the Hogl I'm sorry - they're just too work boot. Probably why I don't like DMs at all too - I see them as work boots

I've impulsively bought the Nanettes. From selfridges and they'll be here on Monday. They're just what I'm looking for, the more I look at them so thanks for pointing me in that direction

I've not bought R&B shoes for years (gorgeous and good quality but I always think of them as very grownup shoes), think I might have to look again. If you love them buy them, the quality will show.
