There is no benefit to buying the £££ KG boots as opposed to the ££ dupes is there?

I want some studded biker boots for the a/w.

Found these by Kurt Geiger and was keen until I realised they're faux leather. For £120 🤔

Have also found these dupes on depop which are also faux leather but are £30.

Can live with faux leather but not willing to pay three figures for boots that aren't even leather. Why are they so expensive?

Also, if anyone has seen any nice studded bikers around, pls do share. The more studs/adornments, the better 🙂.

I like the KG pair, but if I were planning to spend that much I'd be looking at something more substantial like New Rock.

I went past a KG shop earlier today and did think they had a gorgeous and very large range of biker boots in the windows, your included.

I'm surprised they're not leather and would also be at paying that price. However that said they might be super compfy with a great sole and some kind of fabulous non leather outer.

Just googled New Rock, they're definitely not for me, maybe 20 years ago 😆.

Tantric the KG pair do look less shiny than the cheaper ones but not £90 less shiny surely?!!

In my experience KG shoes are not good quality. I had a pair of boots from there that lasted all of about 3 months, not worth the price tag imo.

I had a bad experience with KG shoes too.

I do think the dupes look a bit shiny. I’m sure there’s something leather and lovely at a better price.

Kurt Geiger shoes have gone massively downhill in the last few years but the prices have not! It’s such a shame, as the quality used to be excellent and I have some lovely leather kurt Geiger shoes from back in the day. I’d get the cheaper pair, at least if they fall apart you’ve only spent £30 on them.

KG boots are not good quality at all, I’ve had 2 pairs which didn’t even last the full year. The insoles tend to come loose and the soles aren’t watertight, leaking in to the shoe.

When i took mine back, another lady was complaining that her ugg-style boots had worn through at the toes. The shop assistant asked her if she had very long toenails

Not great customer service IMO

KG are awful! I keep forgetting I hate them and get swayed by the styles and they scuff/wear out/soles fall off within weeks and it all come flooding back.

Zara shoes are good. H&M also do some excellent leather boots and I’ve had a pair for years and they still look great.

Grenson Nanette have a studded version.

Zara ones are the current faves but I am going to hold off on ordering in case anyone else links to an even nicer pair 🤞.

I’ve had a few pairs of Dune boots over recent years. They have lasted and lasted, really good quality compared to KG.

Sometimes cheap boots can be better I find. Boohoo have lots of studded boots.

River island are good and for around £50 , also try deichman, I have never had a problem with their shoes and they're very well made
