Exactly that - I want some lovely PJs with trousers that are long and do not shrink 4 inches in the wash! I have tried loads over the years and been nothing but disappointed - tell me there are some out there that will make me happy! If they are £££ I can maybe ask for them for Xmas, I am just so over ankle swinger pjs - I am not even that tall! Help!

I’m tall and I usually make my own pjs because of this! I do have some boden longer length ones that are ok, and is sometimes just buy men’s ones. Not as pretty but some are quite nice.

Andthenshesmiles · 14/09/2019 20:36

Hush do long leg length PJs

AsTheWorldTurns · 14/09/2019 20:37

I'm shocked that anyone would prefer PJ trousers over leggings. How can this be?

rockingthelook · 14/09/2019 20:38

Next do a longer length pj, if the ankles are elasticated/fitted they dont tend to shrink?

thenightsky · 14/09/2019 20:40

The best, cosiest, non-shrinking ones I've ever had have been from Lidl would you believe! 100% cotton and only £8. I'm waiting for autumn in the hope they'll get them in again.

MeltingSugs · 14/09/2019 20:43

I find the tall range at Next great for pyjamas.

FredaFox · 14/09/2019 20:48

I'm the opposite, can't get any short enough, they all seem one length these days.
Why don't places do different lengths like jeans!!

SteelRiver · 14/09/2019 20:54

Pleased to hear I'm not the only one with mysteriously shrinking PJ trousers! I got some cheap yoga-pant style ones, the only ones not to shrink. Unfortunately, they were a bit long on me to start with so I was tripping on them. They were off eBay and cost less than a tenner.

littlecabbage · 14/09/2019 20:58

Not the M&S pure cotton ones - have recently bought some and they do shrink! Am trying the ones with 5% elastane next....

Carshmar · 14/09/2019 21:00

I bought lovely gap ones....

... and belatedly realised THEY DON’T. HAVE. POCKETS!!!!!

Whyyyyyyyy?

homemadecommunistrussia · 14/09/2019 21:32

I am told uniqlo are good for this.

Oliack1417 · 14/09/2019 21:39

M&S cuffed PJ bottoms, was and tumble dry perfectly..

TattiePants · 14/09/2019 21:40

I’m 5ft 11 and swear by pjs from Jasper Conran at Debenhams. They’re long, soft, cosy and have never shrunk.

Fstar · 14/09/2019 21:43

Next, george at asda or i sometimes buy mens bottoms and they have pockets 😁

YesQueen · 14/09/2019 21:50

Next for me and long tall sally

2004bestyear · 14/09/2019 21:58

I'm 5ft 7 and find Asda pjs long enough and wear well with little shrinkage ( wide leg/loose bottoms as I hate cuffed pjs)

Gertruude · 14/09/2019 23:01

Abercrombie men's pjs are the comfiest bottoms in the world & don't shrink.

BigcatLittlecat · 14/09/2019 23:03

Lands End ones are great! I only buy in sale though!

KellyHall · 14/09/2019 23:06

I also got lovely, long and cheap ones from Lidl that haven't shrunk. They are quite bobbly now. They were a special but it's getting towards autumn so I'm sure they'll have more soon.

Also, Fat Face are lovely, long, cosy and don't shrink.

WhereAreWeNow · 14/09/2019 23:33

Next tall range are the only ones that have worked for me. The rest are all flapping above my ankles.

FauxFox · 15/09/2019 12:41

Thank you! I will keep an eye out in Lidl and maybe ask for some posher ones for Xmas

Desmond & Dempsey are lovely.

CountSnackula · 15/09/2019 17:34

I've just got some Jack Wills ones (in the sale!) that are lovely - brushed cotton that washes really well. In the past, I've had good luck with Jimmi Jamms, but I don't think they exist anymore, to my eternal regret.

M&S men's loungewear is alright, too. I have an old pair of my husband's, and they're a good fit, length-wise.

yellowsun · 15/09/2019 18:37

Next! I have long tall sally ones but the quality isn’t as good- the elastic has gone a bit funny inside.
