New Laura mercier illuminating tinted moisturiser- what have they done to it?

Have just received my tinted moisturiser in the post and the formula is completely different , all glittery and not at all flattering .
Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative . So gutted, I've been using this stuff for years and it looks like old formula is completely discontinued.

NARS tinted moisturiser is bloody great, but may not be as “illuminating” as you need (not sure?). It doesn’t have any brightener in it I don’t think but does give you amazing dewy looking skin and doesn’t cake. Lovely and sheer.

Oh nooooo, please don't say this, LM tinted moisturiser is my holy grail product Sad

As you probably know, the 'old' LM range featured both the standard product and one which was called 'illuminating'. The latter was really sparkly and very different from the standard tinted moisturiser. Is the new product you have 'Illuminating' or just normal?

Why do companies fuck about with cult products?? Angry

As pp said op, I wonder if you’ve got the wrong one? The illuminating one has always been a bit sparkly I think. Perhaps you’ve always used the other one ? (May be clutching at straws)

I always had the illuminating one . But this abomination is in a completely different sort of tube and does actually say 'new 'on the packaging, so they've definitely changed it . It's all glittery 😭which I might just be able to get away with a tan on a summers day but in a British winter ? No way . 😩

That is a shame then, they shouldn’t mess with products

Oh gutted. Can you send it back, OP? It's not exactly cheap, is it? Angry
