I can’t get the Hush boyfriend jeans to fit. Are there any others that are similar?

I love the look of the Hush bf jeans but need to try another brand instead. Any suggestions would be great, anything under £100 would suit.

Mint Velvet Dakota work for me.....slimmish hips, less slim waist!

I have the Jigsaw Hampton boyfriend jeans. £90, might be worth a try? They are a relaxed fit bit not too baggy around the waist and hips.

Paige boyfriend jeans

nothingwittyhere · 08/09/2019 15:58

The Paige seem to be more twice the OP's budget?
Not sure what the Hush ones are like or why they don't fit, but I had a good pair from Gap. Girlfriend jeans with only 1 or 2% lycra in them.

Ellapaella · 08/09/2019 16:06

Yes Gap ones are great. I also have a pair of Levi boyfriend jeans (tapered fit) that are lovely and also within budget.

tonsattingforbjudes · 08/09/2019 16:42

Should have saîd that the Mint Velvet ones are £79...unless you're a skinflint like me and wait till the sale! Went down to £22 last year!

I've also had success with Gap boyfriend jeans but MV slightly better for my shape.

Baukjen, I’ve got both black and blue ones and love them.
They are just under £100

I really like the White Company ones - really nice shape for me. I have the Hush ones and I find them a nice shape on the legs, but very unflattering and bunchy around the waist and fly.

Thanks for these suggestions, we have most of these shops so I expect I'll do the rounds and try them all...expect for Baukjen which I guess is on-line? They look good though. They say their sizing is true to size so I guess they'll come up a bit smaller.

I didn't get on with the Hush boyfriend jeans when I tried them on and bought these instead, they are absolutely lush and much softer than the Hush ones. www.johnlewis.com/and-or-venice-beach-boyfriend-jeans-mar-vista/p4313263

I then later bought the black star version of the Hush ones anyway and rarely wear them. Now that the weather is cooling down I'm going to either make sure I wear them once a week or I'm going to sell them on. Should have returned them at the off!!

4circlestothewind · 09/09/2019 06:33

I like those FleurNancy! How do the sizes compare to the Hush ones? I never have a clue when jeans are in waist sizes. JL is possibly too far away to go in person for a while so I’d need to order.

I find Baukjen true to size

I have the Hush ones and bought an identical pair in the sale because I love them so much. I also have J Crew boyfriend and slim boyfriend and a pair of banana republic girlfriend. All less than £100 though the J Crew were bought at sale price. I am tempted by the Jigsaw ones and the Baukjen too. They are so comfortable and suit my life style!

drspouse · 09/09/2019 11:10

I am similar to @tonsattingforbjudes - bit of a tum, old lady bum - and I am Gap all the way.
In fact I'm having to wear a different pair today as my Gap are in the wash and I'm really feeling it!

FleurNancy · 09/09/2019 11:18

@4circlestothewind Well I'm a 16 in Hush but probably could have managed as 14 as the rise of the Hush ones is different and sort of looks pouchy around my belly, the And/Or ones are much more flattering. Mine are a 30 but I seem to remember being surprised they were the best fit as I thought 34 would be closer to a 16. They really are the nicest jeans I have ever had. I've forced myself to wear my black Hush ones today and the denim is just so rigid, I think it might be because of the black dye though.
