Is this dreaddfully boring or just what I need to make my casual office wear slightly smarter?

Bit hard to tell what it's like from that picture. It just looks like a black siloette to me. Sorry.

if you click on one of the colours you can see it better

Possibly - or how about this which the blurb says is 'designed and cut to stand astride the boundary between smart and casual'. Though the colours are less useful, only really the grape that might work.

I do like that one JackieNo - not as boring as the velvet one - but I don;t like any of the colours

Prefer JackieNo's jacket. The washed velvet one is nice, but I would consider it as very casual and the sort of thing to wear with jeans. If it's smart you're after, then the JackieNo one definitely.

interesting - I'd say the cotton one was more casual than the velvet one. It's not totally smart I'm after - it's something inbetween

HOw about the military jacket? More useful colours, but probably better for the small of nork. I have a similar shaped one, without the chest pockets, and love it.

Or is this too casual?
