Wedding guest outfit

I’m invited to a wedding in another country (it’s not a destination wedding the couple live there.) can’t afford anything new so trying to reuse an old outfit.

Which one do you prefer? If none I can borrow a navy midi dress from my sister which may be better. Ignore the sock

I too prefer no 2 but both look great. I can imagine no 1 being appropriate depending on where the wedding is/weather how you feel on the day etc. I’d take both if you have room and you can assess once there ?

Both lovely but number 2 is stunning and if in doubt I would rather be overdressed than underdressed for a wedding.
