Help with hair (summer holidays were longgggg this year!)

I moved in the middle of the summer holidays and have had no childcare. This has had an incredible effect on my looks haha.
I’ve basically fallen apart and think I now belong in a cave, I haven’t managed to get to hair dressers in months. Through sheer disorganisation and laziness

So anyway. I had balayage and from shoulder down is pretty much blond.
My hair is naturally dark brown (well actually it’s grey now) and due to years of blond is now frazzled and seriously needs a break.
How dodgy is it to use a box due to do a block colour from blond to dark brown?
Dc starts new school and really don’t want my first impressions to be cave woman but left it too late for an appointment. Managed to get my moustache taken off today thank goodness but that’s a whole other story... Wink

Get ds to school and book a proper hair appointment.

Treat yourself to a cut and colour.

Thanks @Bumbags totally booked in for Thursday so only one morning drop off to get on with as a cave lady and hopefully be feeling much better after that!

@illybean you could wear a hat tomorrow 🤣🤣

illybean · 03/09/2019 22:36

@Bumbags seriously I do in the winter to hide the greys. I’m a hairdressers worst nightmare 😂

Totally do a box colour. I use garnier every autumn to turn my blonde back to brown (my natural colour) Grin

illybean · 05/09/2019 18:09

I absolutely regret not doing the box now. I asked for my natural dark brown and have no idea why but is now pitch black and took the girl 6 hours. My hair is elbow length but still!!
Is it possible to solve this now even in a salon? I am so upset.

Oh goodness.

That’s awful.

Post a picture so we can tell you it looks fine.

Aww thanks @Bumbags of course I’m simply being vain and I saw someone who said it looked nice and this has settled me. Just wish it wasn’t so so dark but I can live with it for now!
