A friend of mine says that she would like a dressing gown or bathrobe for her daughter for her birthday. She will be four. I need to purchase it online and I need it to be of very good quality. Money no object. I have had trouble finding one. Help?

lovely but too small I think

LyraBelacqua · 07/08/2007 22:56

This one's lovely, from Jojo Mana Bebe. It comes in pink too.

Duh. Jojo Maman Bebe.

we never found dressing gowns that practical but used a towelling dress a la boden (made them from beach towels as couldn't afford boden). if she's a taller 4 there's a new 5-6 on ebay at the mo and i reckon oversize is cute w/these.

I love the one from the Pumpkin Patch and the ones from JOJO. They are gorgeous. I also like the ones from the Children's Salon. That website is fab!!!!!!! The one from the pumpkin patch is spot on I think

Petit Bateau ones are lovely if you can find them online. Alternatively I think the shops will post direct to you if you phone (certainly the one at Biscester Village will).

paulaplumpbottom · 07/08/2007 23:16

I love Petit Bateau. I can't find any of their dressing gowns though.

Its £37 pounds but they might wear it everyday

I don't think the PB one's as nice as some of the others. It's a bit weird that you have to pull it over your head.

paulaplumpbottom · 07/08/2007 23:32

I agree its more like a coverup for the beach

They do this style in bigger sizes, I'm sure. Agree over the head is a bit odd

TranquilaManana · 08/08/2007 10:50

is this totally wrong track? mine have the ducks and dinosaurs... and over the head is no prob for us... iiiiiiiis a great way to lure them out of the bath, actch 'who wants to be a dinosaur first?' etc.

Thanks very much, they don't do the white one in a bigger size and while I love the dino one ( Think I'll get that for my nephew) they aren't for this little one

Petit Bateau certainly make them bigger as we have them. But I can't find them online. You'd need to call a store, I think.

LyraBelacqua · 08/08/2007 23:49

I bought some Petit Bateau body suits when DS1 was tiny and they're still in great condition even after DS2 has worn them. I love their stuff but it's a little on the pricey side. I looked in their shop in Richmond but had to leave when i found the shorts I wanted were nearly £40.
