Please! That won't go grey or saggy even in the tumble dryer.

Top shop Joni or topshop Jamie

BEDinhalfanhour · 23/08/2019 19:15

Tesco's are great. I couldnt believe it. I think they were £14.

I ended up getting grey & blue as well.

I usually get French Connection ones that are £70.

The Tesco ones have an elasticated waist, which I need plus tops go over them really nicely.

They have stayed black. I dont tumble dry though.

ItMustBeBedtimeSurely · 23/08/2019 19:17

Topshop Jamie. I've never found anything better for fit or longevity.

TheCanyon · 23/08/2019 19:18

I love the river island molly jeans. Mine are about 3 years old and tumble dried maybe once a week or two and are still black and in perfect shape.

Nitw1t · 23/08/2019 19:20

Uniqlo

pieeye · 23/08/2019 20:41

Topshop Joni.

NotExactlyHappyToHelp · 23/08/2019 20:44

Topshop Jamie. The dogs bollocks of all black jeans.

They do not fade or sag or bag. They’re cut beautifully and they’re sold in waist and leg measurements which for my short arse is the holy grail.

nitgel · 23/08/2019 20:44

Definitely uniqlo. They always spring back

HisBetterHalf · 23/08/2019 20:45

River Island- they keep their colour and their stretch

Next Hypercurve

Invisimamma · 23/08/2019 20:54

I'd love some for work that don't go grey within a few months.

So far Tesco are best fit for me but go grey fairly quickly.

£40 for Topshop Jamie is beyond my budget, more £20-25 range.

VelvetKitty · 23/08/2019 21:20

Definitely either Topshop Joni or Tesco for a lower budget

ZaraW · 23/08/2019 21:26

Levi's.

Boyskeepswinging · 23/08/2019 21:29

M&S Super Skinnies are fab and come in a variety of lengths. My advice is to wash inside out to maintain the blackness.

Invisimamma · 23/08/2019 21:44

I found that m&s faded quickly and sagged! They were perfect for the first 8 weeks then went all wrong!

Boyskeepswinging · 23/08/2019 21:52

I think M&S must use different suppliers for their jeans. I've got a couple of pairs on the go now that I've had for two, maybe three years. I wear them at least a couple of times every week and they still look like brand new. But thinking about it, the pair I had previously did go bit baggy. Must be luck of the draw, which isn't great for a retailer.

boredboredboredboredbored · 23/08/2019 21:54

Topshop Jamie too I've several pairs in different colours and lengths. Wash & wear so well.

burnyburny · 23/08/2019 23:38

River Island Molly's

I also have a pair of New Look Hallie's which have held their shape (and held me in) brilliantly. I have dyed them once or twice, but have had them a couple of years now.

Elllllle · 24/08/2019 11:01

Topshop Jamie are okay (in terms of dont go baggy, etc) but they fade a lot and give at the seams. Mine never last more than a year.

I've heard great things about Guess jeans.

GoBackToPartyCity · 24/08/2019 13:57

I’ve had some black skinnies from matalan which I’ve worn to death and have lasted really well. I think they’re called Jessie.

mightybuzz · 24/08/2019 14:09

Paige Jeans Margot

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 26/08/2019 10:14

Dying jeans black again is really easy. I’ve done it several times when I couldn’t justify buying new ones. Get the Dylon black dye ;Poundstretcher, Tesco, Waitrose) and chuck it in the washing machine with salt and anything you want to go black. It’s fab, and no - it doesn’t make all your washing go grey afterwards.
