Help! Would pink shoes be too much?

I have ordered this dress for a wedding abroad in October. I am TERRIBLE at styling/fashion so have no idea what to wear with it. I was thinking hot pink shoes and fascinator? Maybe bag too but I think that’ll be much?

The last time I wore a headband it had my name written on in gel pen, wonder if my mum still has it....

I might just get some nice clips for my hair. I tend to wear it pinned back because I don’t like the feel of hair on my face. I’ll order the shoes now and have a look for a bag.

A headband will look good if you're a smokin' 20-something, along the lines of the models pictured.

Thing is though these aren't Sloaney alice band headbands. The ones I've seen are like a cross between a hat and a headband - they're much more substantial than a regular headband.

I've said headband so much the word has lost all meaning.
