What jacket and shoes to wear with this dress in the day?

I got this dress for a wedding, but have decided against wearing it for a wedding and having it for a day date instead. I dont know what shoes and jacket to dress it down though!

Would this pink jacket match? I dont want to order it if it will look silly!

Hard to tell with the lighting but should look fine. If being casual you could wear a denim jacket or silk bomber or trench with it.
Shoes-wise mules, trainers gladiators, ankle boots, could all work.
