Could you show me what comfortably outfits you wear for long haul flights. I usually wear jeans and regret it. I'd feel wrong wearing joggers - too casual. I haven't worn leggings in years. I want the comfort of joggers but a little bit more like I've made an effort.

My linen trousers are woven; it's the t-shirts which are the knitted linen. Sorry for the lack of clarity!

Linen jersey, I see it's called.

Anyway, I find a pair of black linen trousers don't end up looking very crumpled. Creases show much worse on light fabrics, and once you've washed a pair of linen trousers enough times, the fibers get all soft and bendy anyway.

@EatenByDinosaurs I also Love leather look leggings usually with silk shirts but I would like to wear them in the winter with loose cashmere sweaters, The white company sweaters are stylish but they do not wash well and not good value for money, where do you recommend for long loose cashmere sweaters?

I usually wear this type of t shirt striped dress with denim jacket and sandals or trainers.

Sorry @Alwayscheerful only just seen your comment. You have great taste then Wink.

I'm in the US, so may not be a huge help, but I love J Crew, Loft and Old Navy. Ralph Lauren too, if I can pick up a (relative) bargain, I don't like paying full price for anything really Blush.

Best of all is TJ Maxx, which I think is TK Maxx in the UK? Maybe its a different shop, but they're along similar lines I think. I love having a root in there Grin

Definitely not jeans, or tight pants.

I fly long haul a lot.

My ‘uniform’ is: neutral linen palazzo pants in a darkish colour (khaki, navy, etc); longsleeved t shirt; thin cashmere cardigan or v-neck; mid length denim trench; long linen scarf; smart trainers (no laces- like adidas Superstar).

I buy pants with the stretchy knit panel (foldover) at the waist. It’s hidden under the top, and far more comfortable than zip/button/elastics.

I don’t find I look like a ‘crunched up paper bag’, even after 30 hours of travel.

Personally, I can't wear waistbands as I swell up so much, so I wear one of those over-size Cos tunic dress things (link to my latest purchase below below), big scarf, loafers and if necessary, bring socks in case feet get cold. I feel smart yet comfortable.

Flying long haul next week.
I am wearing :
Thin denim jeggings
T-shirt
Long sleeve t-shirt
Thin jumper
A small fleece blanket and an extra pair of socks in my hand luggage.
I find planes are very often cold.
