I had half a head of highlights done a month ago and I really don’t like it. They are so blonde and my natural hair is quite dark but I wanted to disguise greys at roots. They are more blended in now but it’s all so bleachy blonde and it makes my skin look yellowy.
I’m going back tomorrow so they can put some darker ones in. Not really sure how that’s going to turn out but hopefully less blonde. What should I ask for? Shall I just ask for one brown to be used or more than one colour?
Looking at pictures and love the balayage look. Does anyone know how I could aim for that in future if I’ve already got all these highlights? Is it possible?
Also is balayage expensive and hard to maintain?
Really I just don’t want grey roots!
