M and S have one for £22 but it's like searching for the holy grail unless you are size 8. I know because I've tried after seeing one in a magazine/

hifi · 03/08/2007 09:02

thanks swedish, maybe ill try m and s on line

i would be quite offended if someone bought me a control swimsuit!
but if you must - next have their own version

brimfull · 03/08/2007 09:08

lol at you buying her a control swimsuit.

Saw some in john lewis yesterday, about £40 .

zippit · 03/08/2007 09:12

what is a magic swimsuit..sounds like something i need, do they have labels on?

nailpolish · 03/08/2007 09:14

zippit · 03/08/2007 09:21

thanks...just remembered that i have a photo on my profile which clearly shows just how much i need one! lol

hifi · 03/08/2007 11:35

oh do you think she will be offended? we do talk about her big gut, we have even discussed tummy tucks. she spends loads of cash on stuff then buys primark tankinis, just thaught it was something she wouldnt buy herself.

OP posts:
nailpolish · 03/08/2007 11:37

you know her better than any of us

hifi · 03/08/2007 11:43

just to let you know a little about our relationship, i buy her creams, cover up and send her articles to deal with the black shadows and bags under her eyes. she seems grateful.found another article this week in mail about a none surgicle cure for it, meeting her on holiday next week so will take it with me.

geekgirl · 03/08/2007 13:55

landsend.co.uk swimwear is really fab and a bit cheaper than miracle suits. they do a lifetime no quibble guarantee, too.

MrsPuddleduck · 03/08/2007 14:10

I have one from Matalan which cost £15.00 and they did matching sarongs as well.

It has a paded bra and tummy support.

make me alist if you have a few days to spare

aloha · 04/08/2007 17:29

Something like this:? www1.landsend.co.uk/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prmenbr=361&prrfnbr=1694340&mdiv=OSwm&c atlevel=prod&cgrfnbr=1175702&catparent=1175702&fromsearch=

The sizes are US btw, so a Uk 12 is a US8. And the cut is generous.

aloha · 04/08/2007 17:30

Or this> www1.landsend.co.uk/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prmenbr=361&prrfnbr=2489160&cat_parent= 178688&cgrfnbr=178688&mdiv=OSwm&cat_level=prod

mrsshackleton · 18/05/2010 12:15

What a hilariously obvious piece of advertising TamB

LouIsOnAHighwayToHell · 18/05/2010 12:27

I have a landsend one. OMG it is like wearing industrial strength scaffolding. It holds everything in!! It is actually quite comfy too. I can do laps in mine and wear it in the surf.

Speedo are making some now too.
