Have to go to a black-tie wedding in a couple of weeks. Have a couple of black evening dresses but they BORE me, so I have decided that I want to get something bright and sexy (but obviously not too sexy) Am thinking Julian Macdonald style, but Boden budget!!!!
Will go up to 150, but the cheaper the better.
Key facts - am a 5'3, would love something in red or cerise, cannot be strapless (envisage having a Janet Jackson moment with DS2 pulling at the top. Size 10, with a slight muffin belly (but Spanx should cure that)
Any ideas you lovely ladies?

Phase Eight? much less chance of duplication than Coast or Monsoon

Littlewoods have remarkably reasonbly-priced eveningwear if you sift through to sort the tacky from the good.

can you get to london? Joy (there is a branch in the brunswick centre near russel square) does loads of sexy + quirky clothes

other london option could be the vintage shop in endell street. Can hire or buy

Will investigate.
