Has anyone bought this Rimmel Jelly product and actually had success with it?

Tried the tester on my hand and it looked lovely and stayed for ages. Can't get any coverage on eyelids at all. Tried straight from tube, tried foam applicator, made no difference, fingers worked about best but coverage was still really thin and patchy. Has anyone used it successfully on eyelids?!

With that I'd try a brush a flat head one foam would soak up the product a flat brush should apply that nicely I can't think of what the brush is called for the life of me it's completely flat
