As above. Needs to be failsafe.

I have this skin too. I tried Bondi Sands liquid gold on recommendation from here. Im really impressed with it and it has good staying power. It's 14.99 in Superdrug. The reviews on it convinced me to try it

jelly79 · 31/07/2019 19:59

Dove moisturiser - can build it up

cherrytree63 · 31/07/2019 20:17

I'm very pale, but I do get a farmer's tan (well more like joined up freckles) but my legs never get any colour.
I use Palmers cocoa butter gradual tan which looks quite natural and doesn't smell too much like fake tan.

itsgoingtoofast · 31/07/2019 20:26

Skinny tan tan & tone oil is good

blindedbytiredness · 31/07/2019 20:29

I use the bondi sands mousse and love it, it's so natural and doesn't streak

blindedbytiredness · 31/07/2019 20:29

Skinny tan gets lots of good reviews though I'm going to buy that once my current bottle of bondi runs out

CroqueMademoiselle · 31/07/2019 20:41

I saw that Isle of Paradise drops were recommended on here last week. I have skin such as you describe and plan to try these drops (in light shade) this weekend.

Myusernam · 31/07/2019 21:17

I have tried the coco butter gradual tan and it is good!
Think I will give bondi sands a try.
Does anyone know how to stop it settling in the pores and looking like black heads as it fades out?

Another fan of Bondi Sands! Love it. Although I find that the shade 'Dark' works better for me instead of the Liquid Gold as you can see the tan being applied wheras the LG you cant, so no guarentee you have covered everywhere! Also the Dark isnt really dark if you just apply one coat. Give it a try..its worth it x

moonpiggle · 31/07/2019 21:38

As for the pores..dont shave the same day you apply and dont moisturise beforehand. Just a good exfoliation will do the job x

Carexpense · 31/07/2019 21:41

Sienna X tinted mousse - either the normal "dark" one or the express 1 hr tan, used with their tanning mitt

It's so easy to use I promise, I love it. Use the 1 hr one now I have DC (though I leave it on for 2 or 3 for special occasions) but used to sleep in the "normal" tan mousse they do

Myusernam · 31/07/2019 22:25

Oooh careexpense, I like the sound of one that I dont have to sleep in!
That's definitely where I was going wrong, shaving before hand!

Cocoa Brown is only £5-£6 and I love the result I get on super pale skin. Can grab it on offer in superdrug usually xx

Jacksons38 · 01/08/2019 14:41

This has happened to me I have large pores and I must have put tan on when I got out of shower ! Not a good idea , I would love to know how to prevent this happening or get rid of dots now

MoltonSilver · 01/08/2019 15:28

I only get the dots if I shave too soon before doing the tan.

Jesse70 · 02/08/2019 09:30

Asdas own self tan bronzing lotion! it's very cheap but I love the results and it's a great moisturiser too.

BowStreetStunner · 02/08/2019 10:32

Skinny tan IMO is the best I have used fake tans for twenty years and consider my self a connoisseur on them now Smile their coconut tanning water is my favourite but they do mousse, wonder serum and other types it has never gone patchy does not look orange (no Geordie shore look) even tans my pale skin without using a lot and most importantly, no biscuit smell the website does good offers two bottles plus application mitt for £29.99 www.skinnytan.co.uk/products/buy-one-get-one-free-free-application-mitt

AbbyNormal · 02/08/2019 10:47

I'm very pale and use Rimmel Sunshimmer Matte Mousse. I exfoliate first and use a tan mitt to apply it and it comes out streak-free and looks very natural.
