Recommendations for a long hair claw/clamp for very long thick hair?

I go through so many of these-my hair is so thick, they just break! I had a fab Scunci one but I lost it and they don’t seem to sell that one at a reasonable price any more!

This is the sort of thing I tend to buy and this is the lovely Scunci thing!

Bumping this because I have the same problem and also need recommendations!

I had a brilliant one but no idea what brand it was. Really large; when closed still made a big barrel shape, so as to be able to accommodate lots of hair. I could get all my hair into it and it stayed put.

One day I wondered why my hair started slipping out of it and closer inspection revealed that half of the 8 internal spikes that grip into the hair had broken. I'd never even noticed these spikes before but it transpires they are crucial and that I shouldn't have let the toddler use it as a crocodile monster.

Not as nice as yours but v effective - I have loads of v thick long hair so worth a look.

I'll check my local store, get the reference number and you can order it.
It'll take a few days for me to get into Boots though.

flame I've googled & that clip looks good, thanks! A negative review complained of being able to fit 3 fingers in when the clip is closed, which is exactly what I'm after!

The only issue I have had is with the clamp that holds it together eventually breaking (not the claws). But they do seem to last longer than any other clip I have had. Worth a whirl!
